Aunt Henri Goes To Texas!
That's right, we packed up the car, drove a grueling 22+ hours through rush hour Atlanta (ugh awful), then pretty landscape in Mississippi, but over scary bridges in Louisiana and finally made it to Houston, Texas for the International Quilt Market. Wee!
Aunt Henri made samples for J. Wecker Frisch's Fowl Play line, which will be in stores January 2018 from QT Fabrics
We met Tim Holtz, incredibly kind and oh so talented. Absolutely adored every meticulous detail in his booth! I wanted to pack it all up and bring it home! The first quilt Aunt Henri ever made was with Eclectic Elements. His new line Provisions releases in April, it's a lovely, grungy blender line that compliments all of his collections! We picked up a Dapper pre cut bundle and are brainstorming up some new projects for it.
Such an inspiring, fun time at the market. Met so many wonderful designers and quilters! Feast your eyes on the beautiful work of Tula Pink, Kaffe Fassett, Alison Glass, Deb Strain, & More!
Till next time,
