Pumpkin Patchwork Quilt Pattern



Get into the Halloween spirit with this Pumpkin Patchwork quilt pattern, a fun and festive project that's perfect for adding a cozy, spooky touch to your décor. Using simple 5" squares, this quilt is easy to assemble—even for beginners. Featuring the Pumpkin Patch collection by J Wecker Frisch, it combines vintage-inspired Halloween prints with classic ginghams and stripes for a playful yet timeless look. Follow along as we show you how we made it!



Here's what you need:

1 layer cake of 10" squares or 4 charm packs of 5" squares, each containing approximately 42 pieces.

1/2 yard black (inner border)

3/4 yard border (if making 4" border)


Cut:

Sub cut the layer cake into 4 5' squares. You need 144 pieces total.


6 pcs 2.5" by WOF inner border

6 pcs 4.5" by WOF outer border


Sew:

1.) Sort the 5" squares into two piles: one dark and one light.


2.) Create a four patch block by sewing the darks to the lights as shown below.




3.) Keeping the orientation of the blocks the same, create rows by sewing 6 four patches together.


4.) Sew the rows together to complete the quilt top.


5.) Add borders as desired.
